It is 6.45 and I just called for an update. When they changed Emilia's nappy at 01.00 she had pooed in the bag! Hooray! I am not really sure how I managed to sleep as I was so worried. I had called for an update at 22.00 and been told that the surgeon had been to see her and rinsed the hole with salt solution. I guess that must have sorted it.
Eva has been a little bit unstable in the night but they have put her back on the normal respirator and she is feeling much better this morning.
I hope everyone reading this has a good day :) Mine has started perfectly.
