Update

Just got back from an afternoon at the hospital where Eva got to spend a relaxing afternoon on her Daddy's lovely soft chest.  I haven't been able to be there for the last couple of days as I have been full of a cold.  I feel much better today but feel like a cough may be on its ways and didn't want to risk getting too close.  I got to spend lots of time though gazing at my beautiful baby and handsome husband.

Emilia is still stable but there is still nothing in the bag :( and her tummy looked a little tight.  When I hear those words I just feel sick.  Our Dr is not worried and they took an x-ray that looked normal this morning.  They may be doing another one later on today and the surgeon is going to look at everything.  They have assured us that as this is her second operation it can take more time for things to get moving.  Emilia is getting morphine too which can relax the intestine and this can be another reason. 

So as usual it is just a waiting game, a game that is taking its toll on all involved.  I will be ringing for an update later on this evening and will update the blog tonight.
